Join us Friday, June 9, as Arts + Rec celebrates ๐Ÿฅณ PRIDE at Bedford Gallery!

LGBTQQIP2SAA* PRIDE Month occurs in June to recognize the impact LGBTQQIP2SAA people have had in the world and in our communities. Bring the whole family to storytime at 10:00 am with the incredible Miss Rahni NothingMore, followed by artmaking, facepainting, photobooth, a mini-Pride parade and more! At 12:30 pm, Miss Rahni will perform an all ages friendly musical number that promises to be an exhilarating and educational experience for everyone. The celebration continues at Civic Park at 2pm with a family storytime and crafts hosted in partnership by Walnut Creek Library and Arts + Rec. Don't miss out on this fun, engaging experience!

  • 10:00am - 10:45am: Children & Family Storytime read by Miss. Rahni Nothingmore, a celebrated professional drag queen
  • 10:45am-12:30pm: Arts Crafts, Photobooth, Facepainting, Gallery Exhibition, socializing and PRIDE history exploration through activities
  • 12:30pm-1:00pm: Miss. Rahni performs musical feature and pride parade for children around the gallery
  • 1:00pm - 2:00pm: Arts Crafts, Photobooth, Facepainting, Gallery Exhibition, socializing and PRIDE history exploration through activities
