Spend a fun and informative evening at the Lesher Center for the Arts with some of the most amazing college students from the top colleges and universities in the U.S. Renew your faith and hope hearing these students who come from diverse backgrounds and interests. The students’ majors range from architecture, music, economics, mathematics, biology, computer science, and engineering. They will be performing pop, jazz, and contemporary songs arranged by the students themselves. These college students are truly the bright minds and voices of our future.

Claremont Colleges: After School Specials – Winners of Lady Gaga’s It’s On Us competition
Harvard University: Veritones – Academy Award winner Mira Sorvino was a founding member of the Veritones
University of Michigan: G-Men – Placed 3rd in the International Championship of College A Cappella
University of Pennsylvania: Counterparts – Singer John Legend is a former member of the Counterparts
Tufts University: Beelzebubs – The Warblers on the television show Glee were actually the Beelzebubs and arranged some of the songs. Also, actor Peter Gallagher was a member of the Beelzebubs
Yale University: Whiffenpoofs – The Whiffenpoofs are the original and oldest college a cappella group in the United States. Former members include Cole Porter and Prescott Bush, U.S Senator and father of George H.W. Bush
Discussion & Performance Times:
7:00 PM - Discussion with college students and admission representatives about their schools, admissions process, and life as a college student. Audience members will have an opportunity to ask the students and admission representatives’ questions during this portion of the event
8:00 PM – Entertaining performance by each college group

This benefit performance is presented by Kaiser Permanente and Diablo Regional Arts Association (DRAA). Proceeds benefit DRAA’s Education and Outreach Programs.
