Juilliard trained violinist Jennifer Cho, who is a member of the San Francisco Opera Orchestra and Acting Concertmaster of the California Symphony, is the centerpiece of this all French program with Ravel’s gypsy-inspired Tzigane. Rome Prize winner Pierre Jalbert gives the orchestra a run with his Les espaces infinis, coupled with works by Delibes, Saint-Saëns, and a coup-de-grâce (see how we used a French adjective?!) by Bizet.
Running Time: approx. 1 hour 15 minutes, with one intermission
