The annual Chevron Family Theatre Festival welcomes the community to a day of affordable, high quality family entertainment. The City of Walnut Creek, the Lesher Center for the Arts, the Diablo Regional Arts Association, and San Ramon–based Chevron work closely to transform the Lesher Center and the street in front of the Center into a day-long festival of fun, arts, and entertainment for families and visitors.

Artrageous

Watch an amazing team of artists painting at electric speed right before your eyes, then have it accompanied by amazing vocals, creative choreography, high energy live music and unforgettable audience interaction for the journey of a life time.
Wizard of Oz
10:30 am, 1:00 pm, & 2:15pm
A classic tale performed by Fantasy Forum Actors Ensemble. This is an original family friendly musical that encourages audience participation from all ages which provides an exciting live theatre experience you and your children will never forget.
Peter and the Wolf
11:00 am, 1:00 pm, & 3:00 pm
This tantalizing version of the classic Russian folk tale, "Peter & The Wolf" brings together all the elements of growing up - daring, defiance, confidence and courage. This classic story is performed by Pushcart Players.
Alex Ramon Magic
10:15 am, 12:15 pm, & 2:05 pm
Alex toured the globe as the star of Disney Live!, "Mickey's Magic Show" performing on 4 continents in 14 countries, and with Barnum & Bailey Circus. Alex wows audiences with illusions, card tricks, and magic.

There is also plenty of free entertainment and activities for families. The Festival kicks off at 10:00 am with the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and then boys and girls can join in the Prince and Princess Parade as it winds around the outside of the Lesher Center for the Arts.
Star Wars
All Day
At Our Build-a-Droid station, children of all ages are welcome to conceptualize, design, and build their very own droid. Jedi, Stormtroopers and other characters in authentic Star Wars costumes will be on hand for photos.
Frozen
All Day
Enter the Kingdom of Arendelle and meet Anna, Elsa and Olaf! Great photo opportunity! And don't miss hearing Queen Elsa sing on the Outside Stage!
A Galaxy of Fairytale Stars
All Day
Princess Live - This performance features Princesses performing songs from Disney movies. Over 25 characters including Mary Poppins, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, The Evil Queen, Prince Charming, Peter Pan, and Tinker Bell are part of this fantastic festival.
