Presented by Contra Costa Chamber Orchestra
with Guest Conductor & Interim Music Director: Paul Schrage
March 29, 2020

Due to health concerns - discussions are in process to possibly postpone A Nordic Adventure.  Thank you for your patience during this uncertain period.  We should have an update shortly.

Running Time: approx. 1 hour 45 minutes, with one intermission

If you enjoy piano music, you can’t miss the Contra Costa Chamber Orchestra’s season finale, “A Nordic Adventure”. The program features brilliant SF-based Allegra Chapman, who’ll be performing Grieg’s powerfully stunning and familiar Piano Concerto in A Minor. The group will also be playing Nielsen’s evocative Imaginary Journey to the Faroe Islands, and Symphony No. 3 in C Major by Sibelius, hailed at its debut as “revolutionary.”
