The annual Chevron Family Theatre Festival welcomes the community to a day of affordable, high quality family entertainment. The City of Walnut Creek, the Lesher Center for the Arts, the Diablo Regional Arts Association, and San Ramon–based Chevron work closely to transform the Lesher Center and the street in front of the Center into a day-long festival of fun, arts, and entertainment for families and visitors.

Watch an amazing team of artists painting at electric speed right before your eyes, then have it accompanied by amazing vocals, creative choreography, high energy live music and unforgettable audience interaction for the journey of a lifetime.
Robin Hood
10:30 am, 1:00 pm, & 2:15pm - (50 minutes)
A classic tale performed by Fantasy Forum Actors Ensemble. With King Richard gone, Prince John unjustly taxes the people. Join Robin Hood’s band of merry men as they to outwit Prince John and the Sheriff.
Leslie Carrara Puppets, with Lolly
11:00 am, 1:00 pm, & 3:00 pm - (45 minutes)
Leslie Carrara is a multi-faceted entertainer, puppeteer, voice-over artist, writer and creator. She is best known for performing Abby Cadabby on Sesame Street, for which she has received 5 Emmy nominations for Best Performer in a Children's Series. She was recently nominated for an Annie Award for Outstanding Achivement in Voice Acting for her character Bubbles on the Jim Henson Company's Splash And Bubbles.

There is also plenty of free entertainment and activities for families. The Festival kicks off at 10:00 am with the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and then boys and girls can join in the Prince and Princess Parade as it winds around the outside of the Lesher Center.
